Neoversity has just completed its first action-packed half-term holiday camp at its learning centre in Al Furjan. The camp followed a strict ‘COVID Secure’ strategy. A maximum of eight participating children meant that we ensured safe social distancing. Throughout the day, our staff also made sure to carry out hygiene checks for the cleanest possible environment.
In line with our theme of ‘Halloween”, the 18-22 October holiday camp offered kids exciting and engaging STEM and arts activities. Each morning, the children took part in fascinating electronics and robotics workshops. These honed their critical-thinking and collaboration skills in the most fun ways. Then, each afternoon, our happy campers explored their creativity in the art studio. They really enjoyed a series of clay, paint, crafts and drawing classes.
To release their boundless energy, and to let off steam, we joined our children in dancing and movement games throughout the day. The undoubted highlight was the Halloween scavenger hunt. A high-octane activity, this hunt will stick in our campers’ memories for a long-time to come.
Each school holiday, Neoversity will hold similar festively-themed camps. The next one will be in December. So, if you would like your child to be part of the fun next time, please let us know!
